As a musical group we are dedicated to responding to fiction, art, documentary and archive film in a live setting with a focus on performances in informal public spaces which invite impromptu public engagement.

We are respectively specialists in Classical and Jazz/Improvised music but our influences and performance practices intersect with contemporary classical, film soundtrack, alternative pop and found sounds / field recording. Our methods therefore combine improvised and pre-composed techniques with an emphasis on a subject-led instrumentation and sound palettes that incorporate electronic and acoustic instruments, 'non-musical' objects and the repurposing of heritage technology.

We are passionate with dots. filmband about making music with integrity that is inclusive and communicates the essence of art reflecting life through multi-disciplinary audio-visual expressions taking place in immersive, multisensory environments.
